18-month post-doc position (starting early 2010) is open to

develop theoretical models of speciation in collaboration with

Denis Roze (Roscoff, France) and Nicolas Bierne (Montpellier, France).

The general goal will be to understand the coupling between genetic

incompatibilities due to local adaptation and endogenous

incompatibilities (Dobzhansky-Muller), focusing on the effects of

population structure and local drift; however, the candidate will be free

to explore different directions according to his/her interests.

Candidates should have a strong background in theoretical population

genetics. Although knowledge of French is helpful in everyday life,

the working language will be English.
