 The recently established Centre for Integrative Ecology at Deakin 
University has immediate vacancies for 15 PhD candidates that want to
work at the forefront of ecological sciences. At

a range of research subjects are provided to which candidates can apply.
Interested candidates should lodge a Research Scholarship application
with Deakin University
(http://www.deakin.edu.au/research/admin/scholarships/index.php). There
are three rounds of applications: The first minor round is open to
international and domestic applicants and closes on *30 June 2010*. Two
major rounds follow, with one restricted to international applications
and closing on *30 September 2010* and the other one restricted to
Australian and New Zealand citizens and Australian permanent residents
and closing on *31 October 2010*.
Deakin’s Research Scholarships are valued at A$ 22,500 per annum and
will be topped-up by the Centre for Integrative Ecology to *A$ 30,000*
per annum for successful applicants.
