>  2 GIS Assistants - Species Range Mapping Project (Cambridge, UK)

> Salary: £15,000 pro rata pa.
> Duration of contract: 6 months

> The BirdLife International Secretariat (Cambridge) is offering an
> opportunity for 2 well-organised users of ArcGIS to produce species
> range maps for all birds.

> This short-term position in the Information team at the BirdLife
> International Secretariat will be based in Cambridge, UK. You will
> report to the GIS Specialist and work closely with senior staff in
> Science and Information.  You will use existing GIS data and tabular
> information from Access to create draft species maps for the Science
> department.  After their validation and amendment, you will update the
> original datasets and produce the final definitive map for each species.

> We are seeking a user of ArcGIS, preferably with some Access experience.
>  You must have good attention to detail, and be able to work
> unsupervised and manage your own workload.
