Post doc Museum Papillon
Title: Population and community ecology of common invertebrates.
Seeking candidates with strong ecological skills in invertebrates ecology to work on several datasets and schemes of invertebrate monitoring.
(projects ‘Observatoire des Papillons des Jardins’, ‘Suivi Temporel des Rhopalocères de France’, ‘Bio-vigilance’; that are French Garden Butterflies Count, French Butterfly Monitoring Scheme, Bio-survey; cf. http://www.mnhn.fr/vigie-nature/).
Methodological and statistical skills are present in the team.
Ecological expertise is needed, at the population and community levels, in the context of building biodiversity indicators.
The candidate will work in close collaboration with several researchers, engineers and graduate students from the different monitoring schemes mentioned here before.
