RSPB Job Vacancy - Monitoring Biodiversity Delivery of Welsh Agri-Environment Schemes

The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds is looking for a Senior Conservation Scientist to run the Monitoring Welsh Agri-environment schemes project. This exciting post is a 30 month contract (with possible 12 month extension), which would suit an enthusiastic post-doc with a track record in ecology. The post holder will coordinate a major programme of research on behalf of the Welsh Assembly Government, working closely with the Assembly and partner organisations (Bat Conservation Trust, Butterfly Conservation, Plantlife, Wildlife Trusts of South and West Wales) to deliver evidence for the impact of agri-environment on a wide range of wildlife. Application deadline: Friday, 14 August 2009.
